Hello! We are Sarah Hewett and Cath Turner, and we are delighted to introduce ourselves as the joint chairpersons for the Sir James Smith's School PTFA.

A little about us: we have been great friends for many years and have five children between us, all of whom have either attended or are currently attending this wonderful school. Over the years, we have worked together on various committees over the years, which has allowed us to build a wealth of experience that we are excited to bring to this role.

We are both passionate about supporting the children, teachers, and wider school community. We look forward to being part of the new committee with many other lovely parents/carers/friends of the school to help raise essential funds to provide extra resources, fun activities, and opportunities that enrich the children’s education and development while fostering important life skills.

We’d love to see more parents and carers join us! If you would like to get involved—whether it’s helping with an event, sharing ideas, or even just lending a hand when you can—we’d be delighted to have you on board. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a huge impact!
