Pupil Premium (PP): Narrowing the gap

Staff and governors recognise the importance of raising aspiration and achievement for all but especially our most vulnerable children.  Some students attract additional funding because they are, or have been, disadvantaged.  This funding is known as the Pupil Premium and is designed to help narrow the achievement gap between those who are disadvantaged compared to those who are not. The key groups that attract additional funding are students who: are eligible for free schools meals, currently or in the past 6 years; are previously looked after children and those who are service children.
